Grooming is an essential part of a cat?s daily routine, which helps in maintaining a clean and healthy coat. Although cats groom themselves on a daily basis, it is important and often necessary that owners also establish a regular grooming routine for their feline. We subscribe to the highest pet industry standards in the care and grooming of your cat in a calm, clean, safe and cage free environment. We do not sedate cats.

A regular grooming program for your cat has a number of benefits.

Stimulates the skin, allowing oils to circulate the coat. This gives out a healthy shiny coat. ?Improves muscle tone. ?Removes excess hairs from the coat, which helps to minimize hairballs in the stomach. ?Allows you to check for fleas, ticks, ear mites, skin irritations, lumps or sore spots. ?Less cat hair throughout the house, which should help people with cat allergies.

Preparation
Nails clipped and rough edges filed Hair removed from paw pads Face and eye hair trimmed Sanitary/hygiene clip	Swab ears with cotton and ear cleaner to remove waxy debris Brush coat thoroughly and comb coat out thoroughly
Bathing
Put cotton balls in ears to protect from water Therapeutic warm water bath, using natural and organic premium hair products	Check anal glands and express if required Final rinse and apply conditioner if requested
Drying
?Towel dry and warm air fluff drying	?Brush and comb-out coat
Haircut
Generally cats coats require only regular brushing and combing, however if the coat is excessively matted or tangled, hair clipping/shaving may be necessary. Should this be required we would assess and advise you of the options for a fitting style for your cat.
